Mattoon and Baker Earn Expanded Leadership Roles

You may know them. You may even love them (we do, too).

We’re pleased to announce the promotions of two key leaders at Mills — Kris Mattoon and Derek Baker!

“As we approach our 50th anniversary, my priority is to ensure our leadership is prepared and excited for the future,” stated Mills Marketing founder Becki Drahota. “Kris and Derek exemplify our Smart. Bold. brand by generating bottom-line marketing solutions for our clients and by bringing energy and fun in the process. I’m proud of them and excited for the company’s future!”

Kris, who has been dedicated to providing exceptional client service for 9 years, is now Senior VicePromotions_July2023_F_Kris President of Client Services.

“At Mills, we pride ourselves on building long-term relationships, and I look forward to overseeing our continued service elevation as the industry changes,” Mattoon said. “Our clients aren’t just ‘customers’ but rather we consider them friends and colleagues. We go through the ups and downs, together."

Kris actively manages and leads the teams to ensure the success of each client relationship and enhance the Mills customer experience.

Derek is responsible for new business development and actively overseeing the people and processes related to our digital services. (P.S. Don’t worry, his new title won’t stop him from telling dad jokes!)

“I will continue my commitment to serving the financial industry by enhancing our product and service offerings, attending and speaking at conferences and events, working with industry partners to develop and deliver educational content, and challenging our clients to grow through the implementation of data-based strategies,” Baker said.
